My theme for 2026 is “Gratitude, Celebration & Book”
Right now I am:
- Book – writing a book for publishing at the end of 2026.
- Vistage – Leading Vistage in Spain; dedicated to become an expert on the role of the CEO, how to support and challenge CEOs, how to be of service to all those who find themselves in the most senior roles of organisational leadership.
- Living in Barcelona, running 100kms every month, playing tennis and padel
- Father to a 18 and 9 year old wonderful daughters
- YouTubing – committed to produce one video every week
- IESE Business School – Head of Communications Programs – Teaching Leadership Communications Programs to EMBA and GEMBA courses at IESE Business School in Barcelona, Madrid and New York; at IEEM in Montevideo.
- Member of Entrepreneurs Organisation, part of an amazing forum group that has been meeting continually for 20 years, faculty on EO Global Leadership Academy and regular speaker at EO chapter events
What I’m Putting into Practice
- Hold People accountable to high standards (let mediocrity go!)
- Data, data, data – decisions based on data and clear success criteria
- Let Life Happen – take consistent, disciplined daily action, but be patient with results, be open to thoughtful feedback.
- Not taking things personally – being careful to observe when I put unarticulated expectations onto someone else’s behaviour and then feeling let down if they don’t “guess” my expectations; making explicit my expectations in important relationships.
- No Rush – removing anything and everything from my life that generates a feeling of being in a rush, not having enough time, rushing to finish so I can get to the next thing…
- Listen to learn, not to respond – just like it says…
