| Great question... and I've had various approaches over the course of my adult life. Initially I tried to be more effective. WAste less time. | I am an early retiree at 60. I have so many ideas and interests - I would love to write, and I have far too many starts so I end up scattering all my time around. I also have a choice on what to do for work, or whether to pursue some formal education in an area, or whether to give away all my belongings to go volunteer somewhere in Africa 🙂 It does not help that I am single and have no one close enough to give me much input. | Are you aware of George Polya's guide to writing mathematics where he stated "The first rule of style is to have some to say, and the second rule of style is if you are lucky enough to have Two things to say, don't try to say them both at the same time". | I struggle with this. I remember an interview from back in 2008 with Bill Gates and WArren Buffett. The interview asks them "What is the secret of your success?"
