| This WAs the same problem with me and still I have this issue, although I'm much batter then my past but still I need more improvement. I can't speak with people and most of the time I couldn't deliver them what actually I'm trying to say. Most of the time I got rejection from my job and the reason WAs lack of confidence. | Some near term trends due to Covid19... Digitalisation -> companies, schools, governments have done 10 years of digitalisation in 3 months. Sales going Online -> Amazon a big winner... all companies needed rapid online sales channel. Even car sales Now going online (delivery to your garage) in Spain. Automation (Robots, Process automation) -> When companies have to invest inwards rather than on growth, automation of processes is one of the biggest winners. Job Market changes - > increased value on technical skills and jobs that can be done remote. On the other hand as jobs become remote, you compete globally as an employee. AI enhanced systems -> AI taking over repetitive decision making and serving as decision support in complex decisions. Medical Research -> Vaccine research has done 20 years worth of progress in 3 months; this will have spill over effects on lots of drug development processes. Competence -> Populist leaders have been the least prepared to lead their countries and organisations when faced by complex crisis. There will be a new-found interest in political and organisation leaders who show both competence and an ability to listen to experts before taking a balanced decision. Government Debt Blowout -> Public finances will be a mess. Nations that can continue to borrow can support local education, companies, industrial activities (Germany, US, China). Nations that cannot borrow will struggle to support local industrial activity (South Europe, Africa, LATAM). Industrial giants who are close to regulators and have access to public financial support will win in the near term. What other impacts will be felt and be accelerated because of Covid19? | Quick question after listening to your speech at MIT, a few of your YouTube videos and Now reading your 20 page ‘preparing logos’ doc, all of which I’ve enjoyed and learned a ton from😁 Does the phrase ‘when I have finished speaking (insert action)’ apply if I’m posting videos on Instagram 3-5 times a week. | Hello Conor, The question that I am currently facing in my life is: Where do I turn Now? I am part of a relatively successful family business with my 2 brothers. I love to work with my hands (though I have a young family) who rely on me for their livelihood. I do it for them, but I loath to come to work and can get nothing done - I have lost my 'punch' to push on and get results no matter what the personal cost. If a Leader is asking you in this particular moment of the COVID 19 Crises .. How to change our global KPIs as we will not reach our Net Income Target? What would you think about it, what would you answer, or suggest. Is Now the right time to change targets? Is it too soon? It is clear that nobody probably will reach their targets and things will not be the same for some time. Given the difficulty of setting meaningful Net Profit level targets across the business, what KPIs would be good to allow employees to understand their objectives... and feel that they are realistically achievable? | Hello Conor You're doing great work - kudos. My question is around Jungian archetypes. I'm a fan of Myers Briggs to help people understand themselves and team dynamics. I'm at a stage Now however when I'm interested in what drives that minority of people who are going to create an impact on the world. I think that's only possible if we assemble self aware teams who double down on their individual identity type (anybody can get better at anything, but anybody can't be world class at anything - our innate abilities and thinking styles lay the foundations for where we can be being exceptional). I think the archetypes are more profound and inspiring for this line of thought. Do you know of any teams that have been created based on archetype and whether they have been effective? I'm specifically interested in teams of 10-15 in the entrepreneurial space (though any example would be greatly appreciated, as would any recommendations for learning more about Jungian dynamics in contemporary teams).
